About the Opportunities:
We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a major wind farm project in regional South Australia. This is a professional role focused on supporting the project teams to stay safe and follow all laws and safety plans. You will work closely with HSE Managers to check risks and improve how we work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In these roles, your main goal is to keep workers safe and ensure the projects flow smoothly. Your daily tasks will include:
- Walking the site daily to check that work is being done safely
- Daily safety toolbox talks
- Welcoming new workers to the site and explaining safety rules
- Using digital systems (like Dashpivot or Lucidity) to record safety data and incidents
- Helping supervisors and managers understand safety plans (SWMS)
- Preparing for and participating in safety audits to show compliance
What You’ll Need:
- Cert IV in WHS (mandatory)
- At least 2-3 years experience working on-site in civil construction (project delivery experience highly regarded)
- Renewables experience (highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills
- A valid Australian C-Class license is essential
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Ability to communicate clearly with site crews and write clear, accurate reports
- You must be confident enough to stop work if you see something dangerous
