As an Safety Advisor / Coordinator, you will ensure that health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are integrated into daily operations. You will act as a key point of contact for site teams, providing guidance and ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Culture: Drive "Zero Harm" initiatives through active site presence and stakeholder engagement.
Compliance: Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Incident Management: Lead investigations (ICAM) and implement preventative actions.
Training: Facilitate site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
Risk & Audit: Conduct hazard assessments, site inspections, and regular safety audits.
Injury Management: Coordinate Return to Work (RTW) plans and support injured employees.
Experience: Proven HSEQ experience within Construction, Infrastructure, or Industrial environments.
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in WHS (Degree or Diploma) is essential.
Systems: Familiarity with integrated management systems (ISO standards).
Certifications: ICAM investigation and Return to Work Coordinator certificates are highly regarded.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence safety outcomes.
Eligibility: Must be an Australian Citizen and able to pass a medical/police check.
