Are you a SAP specialist looking to make a tangible impact on large-scale public infrastructure? This long-term contract offers the opportunity to join a major Queensland Government modernisation project, where you will play a pivotal role in commissioning a modern, efficient operating system for a new facility. You will collaborate with a specialist delivery team to design and implement pragmatic, fit-for-purpose S/4HANA solutions that ensure inventory replenishment and control processes are scalable and aligned with contemporary work practices.

What You Will Do:

• Design and implement new S/4HANA Materials Management configurations and WRICEF objects in alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.

• Lead the design of S/4HANA master data structures, including material master, hazardous substances, and business partner records, ensuring alignment with overall architecture.

• Ensure seamless integration between OPIM and related modules such as EWM, SD, FI/CO, and BTP, as well as various external systems.

• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including detailed design specs, process flows, and configuration documents, while supporting all phases of system testing.

• Provide expert guidance during cutover planning, execution, and post-implementation hypercare to ensure a smooth transition to steady-state operations.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Minimum of five years experience implementing original S/4HANA Materials Management designs in greenfield or live production environments.

• Proven ability to create bespoke, fit-for-purpose designs and full configurations rather than relying solely on predefined templates.

• Deep technical understanding of OPIM integration with EWM, SD, FI, and BTP to deliver cross-module, end-to-end solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP designs.

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business audiences.
