Location: Brisbane CBD (Critical Government Facility)
Pay Rate: $70 per hour
Contract: Immediate start, offering a temp-to-permanent opportunity
About the Role & Your Impact
As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the facility's cooling infrastructure, which is vital to supporting the site's critical operations.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Performing general repairs and scheduled servicing (monthly and annual) on cooling tower and chiller systems.
Working in strict compliance with all WHS and environmental standards.
Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed.
Participation in an after-hours on-call roster is required.
Essential Requirements (What You'll Bring)
To be successful in this critical public-sector role, you MUST possess the following:
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (Minimum)
Licences: CFC/Refrigerant Handling Licence, Restricted Electrical Licence
Safety/Site: White Card (Construction Induction)
General: Current "C" Class Driver’s License and Full Australian Work Rights
