Are you a Project Manager who thrives on variety, fast-paced delivery, and making a tangible impact on community infrastructure?
We are partnering with a major Southeast Queensland utility provider to find two delivery-focused Project Managers to join their Operations and Maintenance group. This isn’t about one "mega-project"—it’s about the disciplined, high-volume delivery of essential asset renewals that keep our region running.
We have two distinct streams available:
The Roles
Wastewater Renewals: Lead a high volume of minor capital projects across wastewater networks and Resource Recovery Centres. These roles are operationally critical, focusing on safety, compliance, and environmental outcomes.
Water Renewals: Manage multiple pipeline renewals simultaneously by coordinating internal civil delivery teams and external design partners to ensure efficient, safe, and on-scope execution.
What You’ll Do
Full Lifecycle Execution: Own the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for asset renewal projects.
Operational Impact: Support the successful delivery of asset performance while reducing enterprise risk and protecting public health.
Collaborative Delivery: Work through a "one team" approach with internal civil teams and key delivery partners.
Strategic Reporting: Develop project plans that provide the foundation for transparent reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: At least 3 years in Project Management, ideally with exposure to Utilities operations or strategy.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management, or a related field. PMP attainment is a major plus.
The "Juggler" Mindset: A proven ability to manage multiple short-duration projects at once without losing clarity of scope or discipline.
Collaboration Skills: High-level stakeholder communication skills to navigate complex cross-functional environments.
