We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer for a FIFO role supporting our regional project teams. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-security, and community-essential infrastructure while contributing to a positive social legacy.
- Contribute to site meetings and work collaboratively with upper management to ensure
- Compile and complete documentation related to your designated workflow
- Working within the engineering team managing individual responsibilities, assisting with documentation and
- Provide leadership in health, safety, quality and environmental management
- Review project documents including estimates, design drawing, proposals and contracts per management direction
- Stakeholder and resource management - Ensuring relevant labour is on site to deliver key project objectives, and ensuring quality is maintained throughout.
- Reporting directly to your site based Senior Project Engineer & Project Manager you will have all the support required but also show a capability to work autonomously as required
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and Site team, you will provide technical leadership and administrative support to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Controls: Manage project schedules, procurement schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
Technical Support: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure site works meet all technical requirements.
Compliance & Quality: Implement and maintain rigorous ISO-certified systems for Safety (45001), Quality (9001), and Environment (14001).
Commercial Reporting: Monitor project costs, manage variations, and assist with monthly progress claims.
Social Impact: Support an inclusive site culture that prioritizes the development of Indigenous talent and local business participation.
