About your new role
As the primary point of contact for the Director, you will balance the complexities of a "brownfields" environment by maintaining a seamless executive rhythm, which includes gatekeeping the Director's calendar, managing travel, and prioritising competing commitments. Beyond administrative management, the role carries a heavy project coordination mandate; you will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, monitoring reform milestones, and proactively managing risk and issue registers to ensure organisational changes stay on track.
What you will need to exceed
... - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to draft high-quality presentations, briefing notes, and reports for the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
- You must be adept at challenging stakeholder management, acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external parties.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and handle a high level of ambiguity is crucial on a daily basis.
- An understanding of government processes and compliance requirements is highly desirable for maintaining accurate agency records and supporting governance committees.
- Possess strong project coordination and administration experience, specifically within HR or organisational change environments.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and various project management tools is essential for developing project plans, monitoring milestones, and maintaining risk registers.
