The Opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager to oversee a massive portfolio of infrastructure and building services works totaling $170M. This is a a high-governance, high-impact position focused on the remedial, replacement, and upgrade of essential assets within a major campus environment.
With a 10-year program of works ahead, this role offers rare long-term stability in the contracting market.
The Portfolio
This year, the campus has been split into three distinct precincts.
Major Works: Projects typically valued at $10M+.
Scope: Building services, lifecycle upgrades, remedial works, and minor interior refurbishments.
Operational Model: Managing the overall program, governance, and delivery frameworks rather than "boots on the ground" site supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Service Provider Management: Act as the primary lead for external service providers who run the on-site delivery.
Governance & Approvals: Navigate complex project approval frameworks and maintain rigorous governance standards.
End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope definition, procurement, and final handover.
Operational Oversight: Ensure the operational model is followed to deliver consistent results across the precinct.
About You
This role is perfect for a PM who thrives in structured, governance-heavy environments. To be successful, you will need:
Proven Experience: Managing major works no less than $50M total within a "live" project environment.
Contractor Management: Deep experience managing external service providers and holding them accountable for delivery.
Pragmatism: You understand that these projects are about functionality and lifecycle.
Stakeholder Finesse: The ability to manage complex procurement processes and internal approval layers.
- Must have Austalian work rights and experience.
