Due to a continuous drive to deliver high-standard outcomes, they are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team in a role that supports the broader procurement function through operational excellence and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- High-quality support is provided to internal departments by acting as the primary procurement contact for various core business units.
- Proven track record of mastering stakeholder dynamics to overcome resistance, drive change management, and ensure seamless cross-functional execution of high-value contracts
- Procurement and contract management advice is provided to stakeholders to ensure governance and the promotion of contract management best practice.
- The supplier onboarding and renewal process is managed effectively, including the uplift of current supplier controls and verification processes.
- Sourcing and contracting activities are facilitated in collaboration with key stakeholders to identify value and manage risk.
- Accurate supplier records and contracts are maintained to ensure there are no unintended contract expiries.
- Existing contract management tools are optimised with a focus on using automation and AI to improve reporting and regulatory monitoring.
The Successful Applicant Will Require
- A proactive and balanced approach is demonstrated by taking responsibility for work and contributing to a productive environment.
- Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills are essential for providing advice and fostering a cost-conscious culture.
- Proficiency in utilising technology roadmaps is required to achieve position outcomes and improve data quality.
- A tertiary qualification in Finance or a Business-related discipline is highly regarded.
- At least 2+ years of experience in procurement, supplier, category, or project management is essential.
- Sound negotiation skills and analytical thinking are required to deliver the best commercial outcomes.
- An advanced commitment to accuracy and quality is necessary for all reporting and data categorisation.
