The Payoff & Roster
The Rate: $56.95 per hour + Super (paid fortnightly).

The Work
As a core part of the Facilities Management teams, you will ensure the precincts’ critical water, drainage, and gas infrastructure remains at a high standard. This involves varied, hands-on upkeep across complex hospital campuses.
Healthcare Maintenance: Conduct reactive and preventative plumbing maintenance across hospital buildings and clinical assets.
Compliance Testing: Carry out the maintenance, installation, and testing of backflow prevention devices and Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
Sanitary & Hot Water: Perform rapid repairs to drainage networks, trade waste, sanitary systems, and commercial hot water services.
Advanced Diagnostics: Execute fault-finding and complex diagnostics across intricate healthcare hydraulic and piping systems.
Safety & Standards: Maintain comprehensive digital job logs via tablet while ensuring all work meets strict health, WHS, and government standards.
What You Need
We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious tradespeople who take pride in a clean finish and understand the high-compliance requirements of a busy hospital environment.
Trade Qualified: Cert III in Plumbing (or equivalent).
Licensing: Current, valid QLD Plumbing and Drainage Licence.
Endorsements: TMV and Backflow prevention endorsements are highly regarded.
Advantageous: A Restricted Electrical Licence or Working at Heights (WAH) ticket is a significant advantage.
Compliance: Willingness to pass a National Police Check and provide standard healthcare facility vaccination records.
Rights: Full Australian Working Rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred).
