The Details
Role & Pay: Plant Operator/Horticulturist earning $35 per hour.
Hours & Schedule: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Opportunity: Temporary contract with the view to permanency.
Start Date: 9 December.
Key Responsibilities
You will use your trade skills to lead, manage, and maintain Parks and Open Space assets.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team for capital project and maintenance tasks.
Operate and maintain plant/equipment according to procedures and good practice.
Ensure a safe workplace, following work procedures and WHS guidelines.
Liaise courteously with the public and maintain effective team communications.
What You Need to Bring
Your expertise in horticulture and plant operation is essential for this role.
Required Qualification: Certificate III in Horticulture.
Required Licenses: Appropriate plant licenses and a C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
Key Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform work at the trade or equivalent level.
Additional Requirement: Possession of a WH&S Competency Card for construction industry safety.
