Highly Desirable (Fast-Track Your Application)
While we encourage all experienced outdoor workers to apply, candidates possessing the following will be highly desirable:
Qualifications: Certificate II in Horticulture or Arboriculture (or higher).
ACDC Ticket: Current Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control licence.
MR Licence: A Medium Rigid licence is highly regarded (you must be willing to attain this to transition to permanent staff).
Plant Operation: Experience with commercial mowers, tractors, and specialised power tools.
Your Daily Impact
Your work keeps the region looking its best. Your day-to-day will involve:
Horticultural Care: Mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, and planting.
Arboriculture: Tree trimming, pruning, and vegetation control.
Infrastructure Care: Minor repairs to playgrounds and park assets.
Safety First: Adhering to strict WHS procedures and council policies.
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered for site induction, you must hold:
Construction Industry White/Blue Card.
Current Unrestricted Class C Licence.
Full Australian Working Rights.
Proven Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to team safety.
