Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Projects: Undertake both planned and reactive maintenance, root cause fault finding, and construction works to ensure compliance with DIT and Australian Standards
- Team Leadership & Training: Lead, supervise, and develop team members, including Tradespersons, Trades Assistants, and Apprentices, and verify the competency of staff working on DIT equipment
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal crews, site sub-contractors, DIT, TMC, local councils, and members of the public
- Safety First: Champion a "Zero Harm" culture by adhering to safety, health, and environmental policies, ensuring your own safety and the safety of those around you
- Operations & Data Management: Ensure accurate collection of field data, prepare cost estimates for complex projects, manage purchase orders, and track the progress of sub-contracted works
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be an analytical problem-solver with a strong "can-do" attitude. You will also possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in CCTV maintenance and installation
- Proven experience in fault finding, diagnosis, and repair, as well as performing specified test procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and effectively manage people
- A solid working knowledge of DIT specifications and relevant safety standards
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a high-performing team
