We are seeking a conscientious and efficient Natural Areas Team Member to join the City of Logan. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Parks Operations and Maintenance team, performing vital manual tasks that ensure our region's bushland and natural reserves remain sustainable and of a high standard for our residents.
Start Time: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Typical for field operations)

Hours: Monday – Friday 38 Hours (9 Day Fortnight)
About your new role:
- Building solid working relationships across broad work teams to ensure professional delivery of all bushland restoration and maintenance projects.
Ensuring all plant and equipment, including chainsaws and firefighting gear, are used strictly according to manufacturer instructions and Council safety procedures.
Supporting the wider goals of the Parks Branch to ensure high-level service delivery and the enhancement of local environmental values
What you will need to exceed:
Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).
Open C Class manual driver's licence and reliable transport (essential).
MR License or the ability to acquire one within the probation period (Highly Desirable).
Certificate III in Natural Resource Management or equivalent experience.
ACDC Commercial Operators Licence and Level 1 Chainsaw certification.
Physical fitness to meet the requirements of a pre-employment functional assessment.
