Weed control, erosion control, and restoration works, alongside the maintenance of walking tracks, trails, and fire access lines.
prescribed burn operations (fuel reduction) and respond to wildfire outbreaks or other emergencies within reserves.
Maintain accurate digital records, including herbicide registers, GIS data input, and operational reports.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: A Certificate III in Natural Resource Management (or equivalent experience) is required.
Knowledge: Strong skills in identifying indigenous flora and fauna as well as exotic/weed species.
Technical Skills: Experience with chainsaws (Level 1 certification) and computer literacy (including GIS) is essential.

c\Current manual ‘C’ class driver's licence and be able to obtain an MR licence.
ACDC Commercial Operators Licence, White Card, and Senior First Aid certificate (or the ability to attain one).
Firefighting: Level 1 Bushland Firefighting qualification is preferred or must be obtained during the probation period.
Health: Due to the nature of the work, vaccinations for Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus, and Q Fever are mandatory requirements for this position.
