The Role
This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise in high-tolerance mechanical work. You will be responsible for the service, diagnostic, and repair of various rotating equipment, with a heavy emphasis on reciprocating compressors.
What You’ll Bring
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter/Turner) or equivalent.
Specialized Experience: Proven background with rotating equipment (pumps, turbines, or compressors).
Industry Context: Previous experience working on high-hazard sites such as the Ampol Refinery, or similar gas, chemical, or petrochemical plants.
Technical Savvy: High proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measurement tools.
Safety First: A "zero harm" mentality and a solid understanding of permit-to-work systems in refinery environments.
