The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a high-impact contract role?
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a key pillar in the finance function, bridging the gap between raw data and strategic decision-making. This is a "hand-on" role where your 10+ years of expertise will help to streamline reporting and improve our processes.
Your Impact
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the monthly forecasting cycle and EOFY preparations.
- Business Analytics & BI: Partner with our Data Scientist to refine BI reporting, turning complex project data into actionable insights.
- Financial Architecture: Leverage your experience to set up and optimise robust financial systems for forecasting and budgeting.
- Mentorship: Act as a guiding hand for our junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
About You
- Experience: 10+ years in accounting, with a strong background in Management Accounting within the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or heavy-industry sectors.
- Tech-Savvy: Previous experience with ERPs.
- Analytical Mindset: You don’t just report numbers; you understand the "why" behind them and can communicate these findings to non-finance stakeholders.
- Collaborative Mentor: You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping junior staff level up their skills.
