Asphalt Crew Roles | Brendale & Swanbank | $39–$44/hr + OT
Join a leading asphalt team with an immediate start! We are currently seeking reliable and hard-working individuals for multiple positions across our Metro, Prep, and Cartage crews. Roles are primarily based in Brendale, with additional opportunities in Swanbank.

Detailed Role Summaries
Metro Crews (Brendale & Swanbank)
...Skid Steer Operator: Responsible for precision site preparation, sweeping, and material handling. Must be confident with various attachments (broom, bucket) on live road sites.
Labourer / Roller Operator: Assisting with asphalt laying, raking, and shoveling. Operation of breakdown and finish rollers to achieve specified compaction and surface smoothness.
QA / Spotter: A critical safety and quality role. You will act as the "eyes and ears" for operators, managing exclusion zones, spotting hazards, and ensuring the asphalt mat meets depth and quality specs.
Junior Labourer (Under 20): Entry-level position for a young worker with a "can-do" attitude. We provide the training; you provide the energy and reliability.
Prep Crew (Brendale)
Skid Steer Operator: Focused on the "front end" of the job—stripping old surfaces and prepping the base for new asphalt.
HR Driver / Labourer: Operating Heavy Rigid vehicles to transport materials while assisting the crew with manual tasks on the ground.
Lab Tech / Field Tester: Conducting field density testing (Nuclear Gauge) and collecting asphalt samples to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Cartage (Brendale)

Competitive Pay: $39.00 – $44.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).

Requirements
Mandatory: Must have a Current Driver’s License and Reliable Transport.
Compliance: Successful candidates must pass a Physical Functional Assessment and Drug & Alcohol (D&A) screening.
Tickets: White Card is essential. Relevant RII tickets for machine operators and HR licenses for truck roles are required.
Reliability: You must be a "show up every day" type of person.
