Randstad has partnered exclusively with one of the largest manufacturing suppliers here in WA. Due to recent growth within the company, our client are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Bassendean. This is a full time contract, and immediate start.
Your New Role:
- Create and maintain transport schedules.
- Arrange trucks based on production requirements, order priority and delivery locations.
- Coordinate dispatch volumes with Production Planner and Production Supervisor.
- Monitor freight costs across all deliveries.
- Review freight invoices to ensure accurate costing and charge validation.
- Maintain effective relationships with freight companies.
About You
- Experience in freight and logistics is essential
- SAP experience
- Excellent attention to detail and able to multitask
- Strong coordination, scheduling and monitoring skills
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
