A highly regarded mid to top tier law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary to support its Corporate and Commercial practice.
This is a polished, high-exposure role for someone who enjoys working in a structured, professional environment and supporting senior lawyers on complex commercial matters.
The Role
You will provide end-to-end legal and administrative support to Partners and senior fee earners within a busy Corporate and Commercial team. Key responsibilities include:
... - Preparation, formatting and amendment of complex legal and commercial documentation
- Matter management and coordination across multiple stakeholders
- Client liaison and professional correspondence
- Diary management, billing and workflow coordination
- Supporting transactions including M&A, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and commercial contracts
- Assisting with due diligence processes and transaction closings
- General practice support within a fast-paced corporate environment
You will gain exposure to sophisticated matters, premium clients and best-practice legal systems.
About You
- Demonstrated experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, ideally within a corporate, commercial, mid or top tier firm
- Strong attention to detail and high-level document production skills
- Professional communication style and strong client service focus
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Confident supporting senior lawyers in a high-performance environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with legal document management systems
