Seeking a Lead Platform Engineer in Brisbane to drive Azure infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and developer experience. Lead a high-performing team.

What You Will Do:

Lead and manage Platform Engineering roles within the team to deliver effective DevOps solutions that align with product objectives.
Define the platform roadmap as the primary custodian, identifying and prioritising capabilities while orchestrating team activities and enforcing standards.
Design and implement release and deployment automation, driving application infrastructure architecture and monitoring solutions.
Empower engineering teams by providing self-service tools and workflows that accelerate delivery times and reduce risk.
Oversee platform health by managing infrastructure, servers, and databases to ensure availability, reliability, and security.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

Extensive experience in platform engineering with a focus on developer experience and deployment automation.
Technical proficiency in Terraform (or similar IaC) and deep experience with Azure infrastructure and services.
Strong automation skills, including the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies.
Architectural knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architecture.
Expertise in troubleshooting and code debugging, with a solid understanding of cloud-based networking and security.
