Landscape Architect
- $65.51 per hour + super

The primary purpose of this role is to provide creative landscape architectural designs for projects that contribute to the professional delivery of services. You will be assisting the Senior Landscape Architect in design and documentation delivery of a large range of landscape projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and role model customer focused behaviour by solving the customer’s issue within level of delegation or escalating for resolution.
- Work in partnership with your team leader to agreed performance standards and mutual expectations. Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and take personal responsibility for optimising your potential.
- Provide innovative landscape architectural solutions including presentation material to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Apply professional skills to coordinate and/or design manage project delivery stages including investigations and feasibility; schematic and concept design; design development and project reporting.
- Support senior team members with the integration of environmentally responsible and sustainable designs.
- Work in accordance with design systems, internal work procedures, QA and standards of customer service.
- Operate professionally ensuring high quality services in the context of a customer focused and business-like environment and within the parameters of time, quality, and budget considerations.
- Comply with and assist in the development and continuous improvement of City Project’s Office quality management system.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in developing innovative and sustainable landscape architectural designs.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the preparation and coordination of documentation for construction of landscape and/or urban design works.
- Demonstrated experience in the application and integration of relevant standards and practices for landscape and urban design projects.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously in a professional organisation.
- High standard of visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated competent experience in the application of the relevant software (AutoCAD) for production of designs and documentation.
Desireable
- Eligibility for membership of a professional industry association, Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
- Current “C” class driver’s license.
