About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a competitive and sales-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing, collaborative Queensland Education team. This permanent, full-time position inherits an established, "warm" desk focused on OSHC (Outside School Hours care) recruitment, primarily handling temporary and temp-to-perm placements.
Operating within the essential Education sector, you will focus on high-volume sales activity and building strong client relationships with local care centers. The best part? You won't be bogged down by paperwork. Our dedicated offshore administrative teams handle application processing and compliance, allowing you to focus purely on driving sales, hitting targets, and managing client accounts. You will work within a specialized OSH team spanning Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, enjoying a culture that is both highly competitive and incredibly supportive.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage an established, warm temporary recruitment desk with a highly consistent weekly billing volume between $15,000 and $20,000.
- Drive proactive sales and client engagement by maintaining high call volumes, aiming for approximately 80 calls per week.
- Maintain strong face-to-face relationships with clients and understand their centers firsthand by conducting 1 site visit per week.
- Coordinate closely with offshore support teams who manage compliance, candidate processing, and roster support to quickly fill critical afternoon shifts.
- Manage a fast-paced roster schedule working on rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM).
What we're looking for:
- An ambitious individual with at least 2 years of experience in Retail, Hospitality, Travel, Real Estate, or Sales-previous recruitment experience is a plus, but outstanding customer service and sales skills are our priority.
- A highly resilient, proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and confidently navigate complex client expectations.
- A valid Driver's License for required client site visits (public transport is not viable for these locations).
- Full working rights in Australia.
What is in it for you?
At Randstad, we pride ourselves on our vibrant and supportive company culture. As part of our team, you'll have access to a range of excellent benefits, including:
- Competitive base salary plus a highly rewarding monthly commission structure tied to unit performance.
- Flexible hybrid working arrangements (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home, with Friday as a team anchor day).
- Comprehensive training and sector onboarding to transition your customer service and sales skills into a corporate recruitment environment.
- Access to a wider network of local talent partners and collaborative divisions across Australia.
