As the Site Inventory Controller, you will take full ownership of site material management, from Goods In/Out and subcontractor coordination to long-term procurement forecasting. What’s On Offer?
Career Stability: consistent high-responsibility role with a global industry leader.
Complex Scope: Manage everything from high-value motor components to chemical registers and equipment calibration.
Influence & Impact: Work closely with senior management to drive a 12-month rolling forecast and optimize inventory levels.
Professional Growth: Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma principles within a world-class manufacturing framework.
Your Key Responsibilities:
This role balances technical data management with physical warehouse leadership:
End-to-End Material Control: Manage parts receiving, receipting into the ERP, and timely picking/booking against WIP jobs.
Procurement & Forecasting: Support procurement and work with the Materials Leader to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate subcontractor items to ensure timely turnaround and zero production delays.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain the chemical register, manage PPE availability, and lead the 12-month calibration cycle for test equipment.
Technical Support: Assist technicians with billable tasks, parts preparation, and non-conforming material (RMA) management.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a candidate with a "big picture" understanding of supply chain logic:
Extensive Experience: Minimum 5 years in sourcing or inventory control within a large-scale industrial or manufacturing environment.
Systems Expert: Significant experience using Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP/MRP systems is essential.
Technical Qualifications: Degree/Certifications in Supply Chain or Materials Management (or equivalent significant industry experience).
