Location: South Brisbane, QLD (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office)
Contract: 3-month initial contract (potential extension up to 6 months)
Rate: Will consider market rates, and dependent on experience.
The Opportunity & The Impact
This is a high-impact contract role where you will be the crucial link between business needs and technical solutions, focused on ensuring the reliability and security of core financial system integrations. You will be instrumental in translating complex requirements into robust, secure, and compliant integration specifications, playing a vital part in our continuous Agile delivery lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Requirements Translation: Convert detailed business requirements into clear, executable integration specifications and designs.
Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical documentation, diagrams (including Visio/Sequence), and operational artefacts.
Assurance & Compliance: Collaborate closely with engineers and business teams to ensure all integrations meet rigorous security, compliance, and audit standards.
Troubleshooting: Monitor, diagnose, and swiftly resolve integration issues across various systems and platforms.
Agile Contribution: Actively contribute to our continuous improvement and delivery within an Agile framework.
Your Essential Skills & Experience
We are looking for an Analyst with a proven history in integration within complex environments:
Integration Expertise: Solid understanding of integration patterns, experience with Azure-based approaches (a key differentiator), and familiarity with languages used in financial system integrations.
Documentation Mastery: Proven ability to create technical documents from business cases and interpret/create technical diagrams.
Stakeholder Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Workflow Tools: Practical experience using JIRA/Confluence or similar tools for managing workflow and documentation.
Methodology: Strong familiarity with Agile and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
