The Role
As the IMS (Integrated Management Systems) Manager, you will be the architect of the company’s operational integrity. You will oversee the framework that keeps the business elite—covering Quality, Environment, OHS, Information Security, and Asset Management. This isn't just about "ticking boxes"; it’s about creating comprehensive transparency and driving clear control across every project site.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Innovation: Develop and implement innovative, efficient IMS processes that align with the business model.
Audit & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure 100% compliance, addressing discrepancies and escalating risks to the Operations Manager.
Accountability: Establish and monitor KPIs for Site and Project Managers to measure the effectiveness of system implementation.
Culture Leadership: Stay ahead of legislative amendments, proactively identifying hazards and fostering a "safety-first" mindset across the workforce.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects strictly adhere to drawings and specifications, maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
The Candidate
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between high-level compliance and on-site reality.
Requirements:
MANDATORY: Proven experience and expert knowledge of FSC (Federal Safety Commissioner) accreditation requirements. You must be able to lead and maintain this accreditation.
Experience: Significant background in commercial construction projects.
Qualifications: Formal WHS/Risk Management qualifications.
Technical Savvy: Deep knowledge of WHS Construction Legislation and the application of risk management principles.
Communication: Proven ability to manage stakeholders, from site teams to executive leadership.
