Looking for a bit more balance and a clear path to a permanent role? We’re currently looking for experienced HVAC Technicians to join the maintenance teams at major Government Health Precincts in Redcliffe and Caboolture.
This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity, meaning you can get your foot in the door with a stable government body and transition into a permanent career. Plus, you’ll move onto a 9-day fortnight schedule, giving you every second Monday or Friday off.
The Payoff
The Rate: $56.95 per hour + Super.

The Work You’ll be part of the Facilities Management team, ensuring the hospital’s critical systems stay online. It’s high-stakes maintenance where your technical skills actually make a difference to clinical services.
Reactive and preventative maintenance of cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, and split systems.
Maintenance of essential refrigeration and medical cooling storage.
Fault-finding and diagnostics across the entire hospital campus.
Ensuring all work hits strict health, safety, and government standards.
What You Need We need technicians who take pride in their work and understand the requirements of a hospital environment.
Trade Qualified: Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
Licensing: Restricted Electrical Licence and a valid Driver’s Licence.
Compliance: Ability to pass a Police Check and provide vaccination records (standard for hospital sites).
Rights: Full Australian Working Rights.
