Duties:

• Champion safety to promote a positive workplace culture, and drive improved HSE outcomes across site teams, and the wider business.
• Facilitate site inductions and onboarding for employees and contractors
• Provide ongoing training and development guidance to project teams
• Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safe working procedures and legislative WHS protocols
• Monitor high-risk work activities and manage detailed risk assessments to mitigate hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide industry-leading advice on HSE objectives and strategies to project management and support the direct the implementation of safety systems
• Investigate WHS incidents, complete documentation for reporting, and implement appropriate actions to ensure non-recurrence
• Work across Hammertech and Procore systems to maintain WHS documentation

Certification & Experience:

• 3+ Years HSE Experience in onsite construction
• Vocational or Tertiary qualification in Safety (Minimum Cert IV in WHS)
• General Construction Induction “White Card”
• Full Working Rights within Australia
• Experience with Hammertech & Procore (Desirable, not essential)
• Comprehensive understanding of QLD WHS Legislation
