Randstad Recruitment has partnered with a Tier 2 leader in Commercial Construction, seeking a HSE Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis working across Health, Education, Industrial, and large scale commercial developments.
In the role of a HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep of health, safety, and environmental compliances, provide industry expert advice, as well as, develop, and deliver comprehensive Workplace Health and Safety programs, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees by maintaining an onsite presence and developing the site team(s).

Duties:
- Liaise and report with members of site and project management
- Support Site Management with the implementation of HSE systems and processes
- Ensure the implementation of WHS & Environment protocols to maintain compliance with current legislation
- Provide industry expert advice on WHS objectives and strategies to project teams
- Provide training and development guidance to on-site teams
- Promote and champion a strong safety culture within the workplace to improve HSE outcomes
- Complete regular on-site inspections, manage risk assessments, and auditing to ensure a safe working environment and reduce potential risks
- Investigate WHS incidents and implement appropriate actions to ensure non-recurrence
- Onboarding/induction of employees, plant, and equipment
- Completion of SWM’s, JHA’s and other safety documentation as required
- Monitoring of High Risk work activities
Selection Criteria:
- 3+ Years HSE Experience in Commercial Construction setting
- Proven experience in on-site safety management
- Comprehensive understanding of WHS Legislation
- Vocational or Tertiary qualification in Safety (Minimum Cert IV)
- Open Driver’s License
- General Construction Induction “White Card”
- Full Working Rights within Australia
