The Role
Operating out of our Banyo hub, you will be responsible for loading your truck, completing daily delivery runs across the region, and unloading battery stock safely at client sites.
Location: Banyo, QLD
Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Consistent day shift hours)
Status: Temporary to permanent (Fast-track transition to a permanent contract for the right person).
Key Responsibilities
Local Deliveries: Safely operating a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle to complete daily delivery routes.
Manual Handling: Loading and unloading heavy car and transport batteries continuously throughout the day.
Customer Service: Delivering stock to retail and commercial clients with a professional attitude.
Vehicle Care: Conducting daily pre-start checks and maintaining basic run sheets.
What You’ll Need
Current HR Licence with proven experience driving heavy rigid vehicles.
Physical Fitness: Car batteries are heavy! You must have the capacity for consistent, heavy manual handling.
Reliability: Excellent punctuality and a commitment to safe driving practices.
Immediate Availability: Ready to complete site inductions and start working right away.
