Operating within a regulated framework, the People & Culture Administrator acts as a central point of governance, ensuring the agency meets its statutory obligations through rigorous compliance management, administrative precision, and empathetic stakeholder engagement. This role is responsible for upholding the integrity of workforce data and WHS standards in alignment with NSW legislative requirements.
HR Compliance & Administration
Maintaining Police Checks and Working With Children Checks (WWCC) is a critical "must-have" for this role
Specific proficiency in Tanda (or similar systems like Salesforce or SAP mentioned in similar technical roles) is required
Full lifecycle coordination for employees, volunteers, and contractors
Ability to generate HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, and leave liability
Drafting and updating HR policies and procedures
WHS & Workers’ Compensation
Managing incident and hazard reporting in accordance with NSW legislation
Coordinating the administrative side of Workers’ Compensation, including insurer liaison and injury notifications
Monitoring plans and coordinating documentation to support staff returning after an injury
IT & Systems Coordination
Maintaining an IT asset register and hardware replacement schedules
Managing email access and hardware allocation during the onboarding process
Monitoring and following up on IT tickets to ensure timely resolution
Soft Skills & Values Alignment
Act as the "first point of contact" and building professional relationships
A high requirement for handling sensitive data and privacy protection
Using the "Welcoming Hospitality" and "Conscious Compassion" values to drive a positive staff experience
Critical for audit readiness and funding body reporting
