We are seeking a visionary Head of English (Years 7-12) for a permanent, full-time position on the Academic Leadership team. Ideally commencing in Term 3, 2026, the start date remains highly negotiable for the successful candidate.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and support the English faculty in alignment with the College pedagogical approach while developing and improving teaching and assessment programmes to enhance student outcomes.
Successful Candidate Profile
This opportunity is perfectly suited for an experienced English teacher currently in leadership or an ambitious educator ready to transition into a formal leadership appointment.
While the College encourages applications from those active in their church community, this is a preference rather than a strict requirement for the right candidate.
Successful applicants will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to high professional standards, and the ability to implement engaging, differentiated lessons based on NESA English syllabi.
