Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on all vehicle types.
Quality Control: Conduct final inspections and test drives to ensure all work meets our "fixed right the first time" standard.
Team Mentorship: Guide and train junior technicians/apprentices, helping them sharpen their skills and improve efficiency.
Workflow Management: Collaborate with the Service Advisor to prioritise jobs, estimate labour times, and ensure the shop hits production goals.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, organised work environment and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: Minimum of 4 years as a professional technician, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Certifications: Cert III Light vehicle Mechanic
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with modern diagnostic software and shop management systems
Leadership: A positive attitude and the ability to lead by example under pressure.
