We are seeking a versatile and creative Graphic Designer to join a prominent NSW Government department. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio, ranging from high-stakes internal corporate documents to public-facing awareness campaigns that impact the citizens of New South Wales
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining brand integrity across a variety of mediums, ensuring all collateral is engaging, professional, and accessible.
A key highlight of this role is collaborating closely with the Publications Team to design and produce a digital monthly in-house magazine.
Requirements & Experience
... Print & Large Format: Brochures, posters, flyers, pull-up banners, marquees, and flags
Digital & Social: Social media assets, screen graphics, and interactive PDF forms
Branding: Logo design and identity development
Corporate: High-end corporate documents and reports
Expert Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Design Versatility: Proven experience handling everything from long-form editorial layouts (magazines/reports) to large-scale event signage
Professionalism: Ability to work within government brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
Compliance: You must be willing to undergo a mandatory criminal record check and a 100-point Australian identity verification. This can take up to 3 weeks so would need to be completed prior to May 4 start
Note: This role focuses purely on static graphic design. It does not require UX/UI, website/eDM creation, or motion graphics/video editing.
