Are you passionate about the outdoors and ready to get your hands dirty? We are seeking reliable and motivated Garden & Horticulture Labourers to join our busy teams across North and South Brisbane.
This is an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential gardens to large-scale commercial landscaping, contributing to the beauty and maintenance of Brisbane's green spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with all aspects of general garden and grounds maintenance (e.g., mowing, brush cutting, hedging, pruning, weeding, mulching).
Soft landscaping duties, including planting, turf laying, and site preparation.
Loading, unloading, and moving materials, plants, and equipment.
Operating basic machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work environment on all sites.
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related labouring role.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical fitness and the capacity to handle demanding, hands-on outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
White Card (Construction Induction) is mandatory.
Current Manual Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
Highly Desirable:
Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence, or a strong willingness to attain one (this will be highly valued for transporting larger equipment and materials).
Relevant trade tickets or certifications, such as ACDC Licence (Chemical Handling/Spray Certificate), Chainsaw Certificate, or other machinery tickets.
Basic knowledge of plant care, pests, and diseases (Horticulture background is a bonus).
