Location: Lytton, QLD
Pay Rate: $40 per hour (Casual)
Shift: Morning Shift
Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Monday to Friday, or as rostered)
Environment: Cold Storage / Cold Room (Must be comfortable working in low temperatures)
Key Responsibilities
Operating a forklift (Reach or Counterbalance, depending on the site) safely and efficiently within a cold room environment.
Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
Moving and stacking pallets of product accurately.
Assisting with general warehouse duties, including manual handling, as required.
Conducting pre-start checks on the forklift and reporting any maintenance issues.
Adhering strictly to all cold storage safety procedures.
What You'll Need
Current and valid Australian Forklift Licence (LF) is essential.
Proven experience operating a forklift in a cold storage / freezer environment is highly regarded.
Ability to reliably commit to the 5:00 AM start time.
Low physical demand
Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
Your own reliable transport to the Lytton area.
