This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. Your daily tasks will include:
Pick & Packing: Efficiently selecting and preparing plant orders for dispatch.
Plant Care: Watering, weeding, pruning, and ensuring our stock remains in peak condition.
General Maintenance: Keeping the nursery tidy, organized, and running smoothly.
Machinery Operation: Safe operation of forklifts to move stock and assist with loading/unloading.
What you will need
We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and takes pride in the quality of the plants we produce.
Requirements:
Forklift License (LF): Current and valid license is essential.
Physical Fitness: Ability to handle repetitive lifting and outdoor conditions.
Reliability: You’re punctual, hardworking, and a great team player.
Highly Desirable (The "Cherry on Top"):
Tractor Experience: If you know your way around a tractor, you’ll be a top contender!
Chemical Certification: While not required, a ChemCert (or similar) is a significant advantage.
Horticultural Knowledge: Previous experience working with plants or in a nursery setting.
