Join our Roads and Drains team as a Labourer and play a vital role in maintaining the community's civil and transport infrastructure. Working closely with a crew leader, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining of Council's valuable assets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure your designated area remains safe, tidy and defect-free.

About the Role:
- Permanent Full Time| 9 day fortnight
- 76 hour fortnight
- Monday - Friday
- Weekly Pay
Some of the tasks include:
- Installing and replacing road signs
- Pathways, kerb and channel repairs
- Replacing manholes
- Conducting fence repairs
- Replacing lintels and grates
- Repairing headwalls
- Clearing open drains
- Fixing traffic island defects
About You:
Ideally you will have recent experience performing labouring tasks related to maintaining infrastructure similar to what is listed above. We are seeking applicants who demonstrate:
- knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely
- recent experience in a manual position
- experience maintaining similar infrastructure/performing similar tasks
- excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
In addition to these skills and experience, successful candidates must possess:
- Current truck licence (minimum MR - medium rigid)
- Construction Induction Card
