Pay Rate: $998.72 a day + super (or $1,118.58 a day inclusive of super)

The Enterprise Data and Information Architect will lead the design and governance of a secure, trusted, and modern data ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, driving the adoption of cutting-edge platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Dataverse. What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy, reference architectures, and roadmaps aligned with business outcomes and IT operating models.
Design scalable and secure data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) and metadata structures across operational systems and analytics platforms.
Lead the implementation of modern data platforms, including Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehousing), and Power BI for governed analytics.
Establish and operationalise data governance, covering data ownership, quality standards, master data management, and data lifecycle management.
Provide architectural leadership by mentoring data engineers and analysts, conducting design reviews, and ensuring adherence to established standards and patterns.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Proven experience in enterprise data architecture, including the development of data strategies, standards, and comprehensive operating models.
Deep technical expertise with Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric (pipelines and data engineering), and Power BI (semantic models and DAX).
Expertise in data modelling and management, specifically regarding metadata, lineage, data quality, and MDM/RDM.
Hands-on cloud architecture experience using Azure data services, API and event streaming patterns, and complex integration approaches (ELT/ETL).
Strong understanding of information security and compliance, including data encryption, access controls, and privacy within a government context.
