Join a specialist in rotating equipment service for the Industrial, Mining, and Utilities sectors. We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a high-performing team. This hands-on workshop role is your chance to deepen your expertise, working exclusively to ISO9001 quality standards on complex AC/DC motors and generators. You will directly contribute to project success and enhance your reputation as a specialist in the field.
The Opportunity: What You Will Do
This is a critical workshop role focused on the complete lifecycle of electric rotating machines:
- Overhaul and Repair: Perform accurate overhaul, repair, and rewinding of AC/DC motors, generators, and a variety of other rotating equipment.
- Precision Work: Resolve complex technical problems and ensure all repairs are carried out efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
- Quality Assurance: Check the quality and compliance of all jobs prior to dispatch, ensuring all test data is meticulously recorded for closing reports.
About You: Skills and Experience
We are seeking a tradesperson with proven expertise in the rotating equipment repair environment:
- Technical Skill: Demonstrated experience in the overhaul, repair, and rewinding of industrial-grade AC/DC motors and generators.
- Qualifications: Ideally, you hold an Electrical Fitter Ticket (QLD).
- Safety Commitment: A deep commitment to WHS, actively reporting all incidents and near misses.
- Tool Proficiency: Correct use and maintenance of specialised tools of the trade, including power tools, test equipment, and measuring instruments.
