Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing preventative maintenance and resolving electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Technical Support: Installing and troubleshooting industrial systems, including motors, control panels, and PLCs.
Collaboration: Working closely with mechanical maintenance fitters and production supervisors to identify improvements and solve complex problems.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all work meets Australian electrical codes, standards, and WHS regulations.
Testing: Conducting routine safety inspections, lead tagging, and calibration testing.
Design & Development: Assisting the engineering team in modifying equipment and improving factory systems to meet future capacity demands.
You’ll never work in a silo; you will be part of a high-functioning, multi-disciplinary crew. Our site is supported by:
Day Shift: A collaborative powerhouse consisting of 1 Mechanical Engineer , 2 Fitters , and 1 Electrician.
Afternoon Shift: Focused operational support with 1 Fitter and 1 Electrician.
A current NSW Electrical Licence (Qualified Supervisor).
Relevant Tertiary or Trade Qualifications
Proficiency in SCADA, PLC systems, and electrical engineering principles.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
Desirable: Registration as a cabler is highly regarded
