.Role Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the effective operation of the Council’s internet and intranet sites while providing specialist advice on social media and videography.
- Web & Digital Admin : Provide technical administration and desktop support for CMS systems using HTML and CSS to ensure content is accurate and accessible.
- Multimedia Production : Create and optimize digital assets, including video, sound clips, and photos, while resolving complex technical design issues.
- Social Media & Strategy : Identify solutions to maximize the efficiency of social media channels and maintain digital strategy standards.
- Training & Support : Coordinate and train staff to create online content and forms, ensuring high-quality support services across the organization.
Key Selection Criteria
Successful candidates will be evaluated based on the following:
- CMS Expertise: Demonstrated experience configuring and administering complex government web and intranet sites using CMS systems and form builders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to meet the business and internal communication needs of various stakeholders.
- Training Skills: Experience delivering user training to non-technical staff members.
- Analytical & Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital platforms and software integration, specifically for government communications and engagement
- Project Coordination: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet urgent deadlines.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must hold a valid ‘C’ Class driver's license.
Highly Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in IT or Communications and working knowledge of SharePoint, Office365, JADU CMS, or OpenForms.
