The Randstad SA procurement contracts and supply chain team are currently partnering with a globally recognised manufacturing organisation to source an experienced Demand Planner. Based at their Gepps Cross site, this role is critical in leading collaborative forecasting processes and championing the integration of advanced AI forecasting models to optimise demand accuracy and scenario planning.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the collaborative forecasting process with the business.
Executing demand forecasts using advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and driver-based inputs.
Actively participating in the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process to provide unconstrained demand visibility to supply planners.
Coordinating Product Life Cycle Management events and special events (promotions, price changes, etc.) to understand demand drivers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong analytical skills and a proven background in demand planning. Our client is open to candidates from any manufacturing background (including industrial, FMCG, or packaging) provided you have robust demand planning expertise.
Key requirements:
3+ years of experience in demand planning and forecasting.
Advanced MS Excel skills are essential (Please note: candidates will be required to complete a live Excel test).
Exposure to AI forecasting techniques.
Proficiency in ERP systems, forecasting tools, and BI tools
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, convince, and lead meetings with business stakeholders.
