Data Analytics & Insights Lead… or Strategic Storyteller!
- Dynamic Newly Created Role
- Health Sector, Bedford Park Location (South)
- ASO7/ASO8, 3-6 month contract initially
...
Are you an inquisitive storyteller?
We are looking for a unique individual who is naturally curious, highly collaborative, and can connect the dots to turn complex data into a clear strategic narrative. If you are passionate about growing a role from the ground up and want to move beyond the "numbers" to drive real impact, this is the role for you!
It’s very important to note that we aren’t looking for a technical data cruncher or a backend developer.
This is a newly created position within the Project Management Office (PMO), a high-performing corporate team that reports directly to the CEO. While the team has strong project managers and the support of the Digital Team, they have identified a gap: they need someone to connect the dots and give the Executive team the "so what" they need to make and enforce high-stakes strategic decisions.
Why is this role different?
- Narrative over Technicality: You won’t be tucked away in a Digital team. You will be the sole data expert in a vibrant team of strong Project Managers and Administrators who execute the projects, but you’ll help shape the direction with your data insights and ability to uncover the meaningful data that is not always obviously present.
- High-Level Stakeholder Engagement: Success in this role hinges on your ability to build and grow deep relationships across the network. You will use your exceptional communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, gaining the trust and context needed to uncover deeper insights.
- High Visibility: Your insights will provide the "bridge" to prepare reports and case studies to present to the senior executive that will support the execution of high-risk clinical and financial projects.
- "Forming & Storming": As a new role, you get to own it. You’ll help bring project stories together, facilitating discussions that move initiatives from paper to practice.
- The Culture: You’re joining a close-knit, supportive group that values curiosity and "managing up" just as much as analytical accuracy.
Ideally you will have:
- Proven experience in data analytics (Health sector experience is a huge plus, but the right mindset is key).
- Strong proficiency in visualising complex data to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills.
- The ability to work independently, while staying deeply integrated with the PMO team.
