How You Will Make an ImpactPrecision Calibration: Perform intricate calibration work on all analyzers to achieve peak performance, maintaining meticulous records on the company server.
Data-Driven Reporting: Take full ownership of downloading analyzer data and preparing monthly Product Support Agreement (PSA) reports to keep clients informed and operations running smoothly.
Scientific Validation: Conduct and evaluate complex sample test work to validate analyzer accuracy and process control efficiency.
Technical Support & Consulting: Act as a key bridge between departments, providing technical advice to marketing for new contracts and supporting Service Engineers in the field with troubleshooting and operational guidance.
Continuous Improvement: Champion the evolution of the department by refining calibration methods and developing more efficient analytical procedures.
Tertiary Qualified: You hold a strong degree in Mathematics, Science, or Engineering or a related highly analytical field.
Data Master: You possess a high level of experience in manipulating and presenting complex data sets, with an advanced understanding of applied statistics and mathematical modeling.
Programming Proficient: You are skilled in Python, R, or VBA for data analysis and automation. Familiarity with C++ or VB is also highly regarded.
Systems Savvy: You have excellent computer skills spanning Windows and Linux environments, along with a basic understanding of networking.
Industry Minded: Ideally, you have some familiarity with laboratory environments, physical sample preparation, or the resource and process control industries.
A current South Australian car driver’s license.
The ability to provide after-hours support as needed and a willingness to participate in potential field trips to client sites for on-site calibration and testing
