Are you a strategic technical leader looking to shape the security posture of a major energy provider? We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to provide high-level technical steering for a multi-stream Information Security Management Program (ISMP).
This 12-month contract offers a unique opportunity to oversee the architectural integrity of critical security capabilities across both IT and OT environments.
What You Will Do:
- Define and govern the end-to-end solution architecture for all delivery streams within the ISMP, including IAM, PAM, and Vulnerability Management.
- Lead the design of secure baseline configurations for critical applications and systems to minimize the threat exposure surface.
- Architect complex logging and monitoring solutions (SIEM) to enable real-time collection and alerting across the environment.
- Lead the technical assessment and selection of security products (e.g., Tenable, Claroty, Splunk) for seamless integration.
- Ensure all system changes align with established cyber requirements and the Australian Energy Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF).
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
- Extensive experience architecting large-scale security solutions, specifically in IAM, PAM, SIEM, and Vulnerability Management.
- Proven ability to design secure solutions that bridge the gap between traditional IT and high-availability Operational Technology (OT) networks.
- Deep technical knowledge of architecting for hybrid environments, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and complex on-premise infrastructure.
- Advanced understanding of critical infrastructure security standards and the Australian Energy Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF).
- Strong ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and provide clear technical direction to delivery teams.
