Contracts Managers & Contracts Specialists – Government & Private Sector (Temp & Perm)
We're currently partnering with a diverse range of government departments (local, state) and leading private companies across various industries, including ASX-listed mining, energy, utility, oil and gas, defence, NFP, and manufacturing.
We are actively seeking experienced Contracts Managers and Contracts Specialists for a variety of upcoming temporary (contract) and permanent opportunities.
These roles offer the chance to work on challenging projects, manage high-value agreements, and significantly contribute to both public outcomes and corporate success.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the assignment, roles may involve:
- End-to-end contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, execution, performance monitoring, variations, and close-out.
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of complex contractual documents, including RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and agreements.
- Ensuring strict contractual compliance with relevant legal frameworks, policies, and internal guidelines across both public and private sectors.
- Stakeholder engagement and coordination with internal clients, legal teams, and external suppliers to manage relationships and resolve disputes.
- Managing risk, performance, and financial aspects of contracts to deliver maximum value.
- Contributing to contract management strategy, reporting, and process improvement.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Contracts Specialist in either the government or private sector (or both).
- Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration.
- Sound knowledge of relevant contract law, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage contract risks effectively.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
