Are you a local legend with a knack for multitasking? We are looking for a reliable, switched-on Concrete Batcher to join our Toowoomba team. This is a temp-to-perm position for someone who wants stability, high hours, and a "get it done" attitude.
The Role
This isn't just a desk job, and it’s not just a laboring job—it’s the best of both. You’ll be the heartbeat of the yard, ensuring the right mix gets to the right site at the right time.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Operations & Tech: Batching concrete, data entry, and managing truck allocations.
Customer Service: Taking orders over the phone and chatting with drivers and clients.
Getting Stuck In: We operate as one team. When things slow down, we all jump out of the office to help with hosing, shoveling, and basic plant maintenance.
Work Hours & Pay
We look after our people with consistent, ongoing work.
Weekly Hours: Average 50–55 hours per week.
Structure: Base rate for the first 38–40 hours, with plenty of OT to boost your take-home pay.
What You Bring to the Table
You don’t necessarily need years of batching experience (we’ll train the right person), but you do need:
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers and learning new software quickly.
Phone Manner: Clear communication skills and a professional "can-do" attitude with customers.
Physical Fitness: You aren't afraid to pick up a shovel or a hose when the yard needs a clean.
Reliability: You show up on time, every time.
Local Knowledge: Living in or near Toowoomba is a major plus.
