Key Responsibilities
- Service Ownership & Operations
- Lead the AWS managed services team responsible for monitoring, incident management, backup/recovery, patching, and performance optimization.
- Ensure SLA compliance, operational excellence, and continuous availability of customer environments.
- Proactively identify and address issues, risks, and incidents to minimize business impact.
- Customer Engagement & Support
- Act as the escalation point for customers for AWS operations and managed services.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and ensure AWS environments are aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Provide regular reporting, cost insights, and service reviews to customers and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership & Process Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow the CMS team within a large enterprise environment, fostering a culture of accountability, customer-first mindset, and continuous learning.
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in service delivery to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Ensure processes align with ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management.
- Cloud Governance & Optimization
- Implement and maintain governance for security, compliance, cost management, and operational best practices in AWS.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security teams to align managed services with enterprise cloud strategies.
- Continuously optimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
