We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor for our leading Civil Client who has upcoming Council, subdivision projects in Townsville. You will be either based and residing in the Townsville or willing to relocate .
About you:
You will need to be an experienced Leading Hand / Foreman with a focus on administering Quality, Safety and Environmental management. You will be a high calibre individual with a focus on delivering quality projects and overseeing site functions. You will need to work autonomously at times and also coordinate internal and external resources.You will hold possession of QLD (C) class drivers licence, with 5-10 year's experience in civil construction.
The Role:
- Coordinate, supervise and control subcontractors.
- Maintain daily supervisor reports
- Liaising with the client and Project Manager to organise inspections of the works
- A sound understanding of the construction industry including modern construction techniques.
- Bulk Earthworks and roads experience.
- Structural concrete experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A good level of computer literacy including MS Word, Excel and Project.
